What does the free trial include? expand_more

The free trial gives you 3 checks per tool (TTA Membership and Ratings Central cut-off), with up to 5 rows per check. That's enough to verify the app works with your real data before committing to anything. Upgrade to unlimited for a one-time payment of $25 AUD.

Does this work on Mac and Windows? expand_more

Yes — it's a web app, so it works on any device with a modern browser. No installation required.

Do I need to be logged into TTA to use it? expand_more

Only for TTA Membership checks. When you select that mode, the app will ask for your tabletennis.org.au username and password. Your credentials are sent securely to TTA to establish a session and are never stored. The Ratings Central cut-off check does not require a TTA login.

What format does my spreadsheet need to be in? expand_more

Excel (.xlsx or .xls) or CSV. Column requirements differ by mode:

TTA Membership: First Name and Last Name required. National Member ID optional but recommended for exact matching.
RC Cut-off: RC ID and RC Cut Off required. First Name and Last Name are optional.

What happens if a player has a common name and returns multiple matches? expand_more

The result will show "MULTIPLE MEMBERS FOUND". You can re-run those rows with their National Member ID filled in to get an exact match. This only applies to TTA Membership checks - RC checks use a unique RC ID so there's no ambiguity.

How does the Ratings Central cut-off check work? expand_more

You set a cut-off date and the app looks up each player's RC rating from the last event on or before that date. Any player whose rating exceeds their specified RC Cut Off is flagged. You can also enable the standard deviation option, which uses rating − deviation as a more conservative measure.

Is my data sent anywhere? expand_more

No. All lookups happen directly between your browser and the TTA or Ratings Central websites — no player data passes through our servers.

How many players can I check at once? expand_more

As many as your spreadsheet has. The app checks them one at a time, so larger lists just take longer.

Do I need to create an account? expand_more

Yes. A free account is required to use the app. Sign up with your email and you'll get 3 free checks per tool (up to 5 rows each) before deciding whether to upgrade.
