Does this work on Mac and Windows? expand_more

Yes - it's a Chrome extension, so it works on any computer with Chrome installed.

Do I need to be logged into the TTA website to use it? expand_more

Yes. The extension reads the member finder page on your behalf, so you need to be logged into tabletennis.org.au before running a check.

What format does my spreadsheet need to be in? expand_more

Excel (.xlsx or .xls) or CSV. You need at minimum a First Name and Last Name column. A National Member ID column is optional but recommended since it's a unique identifier, it guarantees an exact match and avoids ambiguity with common names.

What happens if a player has a common name and returns multiple matches? expand_more

The result will show "MULTIPLE MEMBERS FOUND". You can re-run those rows with their National Member ID filled in to get an exact match.

Is my data sent anywhere? expand_more

No. All lookups happen directly between your browser and the TTA website - no player data passes through our servers.

How many players can I check at once? expand_more

As many as your spreadsheet has. The extension checks them one at a time, so larger lists just take longer.

How do I install the extension? expand_more

Download the zip file and unzip it. Keep the folder somewhere permanent like your Documents folder.

Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions

Enable Developer Mode using the toggle in the top right corner.

Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

warning Do not move or delete that folder after installing. Chrome loads the extension directly from it and removing it will break the extension.
